Nonfiction Editor

Jose Gamboa (he/him) is an Allentown-based Zillennial who is both a friend of Dorothy and someone with a penchant for dismantling the patriarchy. He is a dual MFA Creative Writing and MA Publishing degree student at Rosemont College, where he is Graduate Assistant to the Director of the MFA & MA programs. He has previously served on Rathalla Review as Poetry Co-Editor, Creative Nonfiction Editor, and Production Manager, respectively.

Peter Oravetz (he/him) is a Philadelphia-based author and illustrator. He earned his BFA from Montserrat College of Art in Beverly, MA. Since then, his mediums have included fine pen and ink drawing, gauche painting, block printing, and miniature wood working. 
 

His illustration work can be found on the packaging for Herman’s Coffee, the album cover for the band Outer States, the cover of the literary magazine Kugelmass, and his self-published children’s book The Odyssey of 01. Future projects include a fantasy novel and related board game.

 

Peter currently works as the Lead Preparator for the Philadelphia International Airport's Exhibitions Program in support of local artists.

Art Editor

Stephen Yuffrida Brown (he/him) is a Pushcart nominated writer-activist with a Philly attitude and a background in LGBT+ studies and gender, sexuality, and women's studies. In his professional life, he is dedicated to the belief that art shapes ideology and that education is crucial for achieving social justice and social mobility.

Stephen's poetry and prose have appeared in various literary journals and anthologies, mostly queer ones. He is the author of two multi-genre chapbooks, A Portrait of Brotherhood as Two Boys from Space (2025) and His Boyfriend Materials (2024).
